Who we are

The Firs is a small family run partnership providing accommodation in Highland Perthshire. We are the controller in respect of all data that we collect.
Most of our bookings are accepted through “Free to Book” a third party operator who collects and holds the relevant data. “Free to book” has its own Privacy Policy, available from the Booking Online page.

How we collect personal data

In email enquiries and hard copy correspondence sent to us.
By taking notes during phone-calls.
In paper forms (such as guest registration forms).

Whose data we collect

People who contact us to enquire about our services.

Types of data we collect

Names, postal addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers.

How we use this data

We use this data only to reply enquiries and provide our services.
We do not use this data for marketing.
We do not share it with any 3rd parties.

Data Storage

Information is stored on The Firs in-house computer and on paper records held at The Firs. Information is not stored on The Firs Website server.

Retention Periods

Names and email addresses – 4 years after last use.
